“We are thrilled that ATA’s newest truck will be helping to spread our safety message and burnish trucking’s image from coast to coast,” said Chris Spear, ATA president and CEO. “This new addition will enable us to further educate the public about the indispensable role of truck drivers, their commitment to safety and how intermodal carriers play an integral part of our lives, bringing the world to our door.”

The IMC Truck, a 2023 red Peterbilt Model 579 UltraLoft, joins Interstate One, the Share the Road Truck, and the Workforce Heroes Truck in ATA’s image fleet.

“Our trucks play a vital role in expanding our reach to schools and image events across the country,” Spear said. “This year alone, our trucks have been seen by over 100,000 people and have participated in more than 50 events in approximately 30 states.”

ATA had its other image trucks, including this one for America's Road Team, in Austin for the expo and conference.

Jason Skoog, Peterbilt general manager and Paccar vice president, said participating is a way for Peterbilt to stand with the intermodal transportation industry and help remind everyone that trucks keep America moving

“It is important to not only repeat that message, but also educate the new generations on the critical role that trucking plays in our supply chain and by extension on our strength as a nation,” Skoog said.
