CNBC postponed its interview with ATA President and CEO Bill Graves that had been scheduled for this morning. ATA will issue another notice when he is rescheduled to appear on Squawk Box.

Graves was scheduled to appear on CNBC's "Squawk Box" at 7:10 a.m. (Eastern Time) today to discuss rising fuel prices and their effect on the trucking industry and the nation's economy.
For many motor carriers, fuel represents the second-highest operating expense after driver wages, accounting for up to 25 percent of total operating expenses. Since 80 percent of communities in the U.S. receive their goods solely by truck, rising fuel costs have the potential to affect the price of all goods and the overall economy.
The trucking industry is expected to pay $110.1 billion buying diesel fuel this year, up from $103.3 billion last year and more than double what it paid just four years ago.
Graves is expected to discuss fuel, the holiday shipping season, freight volumes, and the fall freight season.
The American Trucking Associations is the largest national trade association for the trucking industry, representing more than 37,000 members covering every type of motor carrier in the United States.
