Espar announced it has earned the Daimler Trucks North America 2013 Masters of Quality award
and the GM 2014 Supplier Quality Excellence award.
Representatives from DTNA visited Espar’s facility to present the award, the highest recognition that DTNA gives to its suppliers. Only the top 3% are recognized after a stringent evaluation of more than a 1,000 suppliers.
Espar Receives Two Supplier Quality Awards
Espar announced it has earned the Daimler Trucks North America 2013 Masters of Quality award and the GM 2014 Supplier Quality Excellence award.
DTNA's Masters of Quality program – now in its 27th year – recognizes outstanding suppliers that have received high scores on their quality, delivery, technology and cost performance as measured on a Balanced Scorecard. These suppliers demonstrate an ongoing commitment to continuously improving the quality of their products and overall performance of their businesses.
“This award acknowledges our dedication to continually improve the performance of our heater products and the devotion of our team to service our heavy-duty truck customer,” says Ashu Aggarwal, Espar’s quality manager.
The GM Supplier Quality Excellence Award was presented to Volker Hohensee, Espar’s President and Ashu Aggarwal, Quality Manager, at an awards ceremony at the Detroit Cobo Center. This is the
second year in a row that Espar has received this honor in recognition of quality excellence, on-time delivery, added value and customer service.
