Marangoni Tread North America manufactured the company’s 4 millionth tread at its Madison, Tenn., facility. Tread production began at the Madison plant in 2004 and it hit the 1 million tread mark in 2008.
Since hitting the million tread mark capacity and production at the Madison Plant has increased, according to Marangoni. The company had a celebration with Marangoni employees and the CEO and president Bill Sweatman spoke to his team for the occasion.
The 4 millionth tread was a Ringtread XP RDG200 drive tread. The tread is part of the Ringtread XP Extreme Performance product line that is designed for extreme conditions.
“We are proud and thankful that we have been able to achieve this important milestone,” said Sweatman. “Our unit sales have increased more than 15% this year and along with other improvements, we have gained in both market share and market strength.”
Marangoni supplies technology, products, equipment, supplies, technical services and commercial support for independent retreaders and commercial tire dealers throughout North America.
