The Canadian owner of various trucking operations has announced one of its leaders will soon be leaving.
Mullen Group President and Co-CEO Stephen H. Lockwood plans to resign as an officer, effective June 30. Lockwood has held these positions since joining Mullen Group in September of 2004.
He will continue as a director of the company. Murray K. Mullen, chairman and co-CEO, will assume the role of President.
"The past 10 years I have spent at Mullen Group have been very rewarding and fulfilling. I am proud of our accomplishments over these 10 years and would like to thank the Mullen team for their dedication and efforts in creating a best in class organization", said Lockwood.
Mullen Group's trucking/logistics segment, which consists of 10 companies, conducts business in Canada, the continental United States and Mexico by offering a range of truckload and less than truckload services under such names as Mullen Trucking, Cascade Carriers, Grimshaw Trucking, the Hi-way 9 Group of Companies and others.
