J.B. Hunt Transport Inc. has rolled out a new self-service freight transportation management tool for customers using either desktop or mobile devices.
J.B. Hunt 360 features an interface for shipment management across multiple transit types. Users have access to published rates and can request pricing for new shipping lanes, tender shipments and use real-time load tracking, according to the company. A centralized dashboard allows for assessment of transportation spending, on-time service and shipment status.
“Our customers need options, resources and a smart solution for their shipping needs,” said Shelley Simpson, chief marketing officer. “It’s about providing 360-degree visibility and making transportation management easy and accessible from anywhere.”
The system details a list of scheduled appointments, intermediate stops, and shipment line items with quantity and weight.
J.B. Hunt 360 can be downloaded as a mobile app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
More information is on the J.B. Hunt Transport website.
