The Clara Barton Service Area and the John Fenwick Service Area are both in Oldmans, N.J. The re-openings mark the first phase of project to completely renovate the Turnpike’s 11 service areas.
The Clara Barton and John Fenwick areas feature modern expanded restrooms, improved interior and exterior lighting, a new "food court" design, new fast food offerings, and new exterior designs and color schemes.
Two additional service areas, the Joyce Kilmer (located on the northbound side of the Turnpike in East Brunswick) and the Vince Lombardi Service Area (located in Ridgefield) are scheduled to re-open in the fall.
