Polar Makes Executive Leadership Changes
Polar Tank Trailer has named John Koll director of product management, a new department created to improve the company’s existing line of tank trailers and to identify opportunities to develop new products.
Koll will lead a team of managers that will work closely with manufacturing, engineering, quality assurance, and sales to oversee the entire line of Polar Tank Trailer products.
To replace Koll, the company has hired Don Olson as Western regional sales manager. Olson is responsible for new equipment sales in Alaska, Hawaii, California, Nevada, Arizona, and Utah, and for used equipment sales in these states as well as in New Mexico and Colorado.
Olson comes to Polar Tank Trailer from Beall Corp., where he was vice president of sales in Southern California from 2002 to 2012. His extensive career in the tank business includes a position as Polar Tank Co.’s regional sales manager for the Upper Midwest from 1988 to 1995.
