The Intermodal Association of North America's board of directors announced that Dave Manning, long-time IANA member and president of Tennessee Express Inc., was elected as the association's new chairman.

The Intermodal Association of North America's board of directors announced that Dave Manning, long-time IANA member and president of Tennessee Express Inc., was elected as the association's new chairman

Manning most recently served as IANA's vice chairman. He also currently serves on the executive committee of the Tennessee Trucking Association and is former chairman of the ATA Intermodal Motor Carriers Conference.
The other elected officials for 2012 are:
-Vice chairman: Barry Michaels, vice president of intermodal operations at the Union Pacific Railroad Co.
-Treasurer: Jenny Johnson, vice president of Intermodal Support Services Inc.
"I look forward to working with Dave, Barry and Jenny in their new leadership roles," says Joni Casey, IANA president and CEO. "They possess a diversity of intermodal freight transportation experience that will be extremely beneficial to the Association as we continue to promote the growth of intermodal services and advocate on behalf of IANA's members' interests."
