“We are fortunate to welcome a seasoned executive with Greg’s experience and knowledge to help move Rush Trucking to the next level,” said Andra M. Rush, founder of the Rush Group Family of Companies and former CEO of Rush Trucking.
Rush Trucking offers truckload and milk-run transportation for shorthaul, long-haul and just-in-time operations with facilities in 16 states and Canada.
Humes held senior executive roles at several major corporations, including Landstar Supply Chain Solutions, National Logistics Management, Vector SCM and Penske Logistics Global Automotive.
“Our mission for the Rush Group Family of Companies is to identify key strategies for execution that will integrate and leverage us to provide a single solution for our customers,” said Rush. “Greg is now an integral part of the team that is making that happen.”
