All are military veterans or military spouses, and are among the many vets that the carrier employs. Prior to take off, one of Schneider’s Ride of Pride tractors, whose graphics depict the truckload carrier¹s long-standing support of the military, parked alongside the plane for a photo with the passengers and crew.
The Schneider Foundation helped bring the vintage aircraft, owned by the Experimental Aircraft Association, to Austin Straubel International Airport for a two-day stint. It's now at EAA's giant air show in Oshkosh.
