TranSource Location Meets Mack Certified Uptime Center Standard
The Greensboro, N.C., location of TranSource has been designated a Mack Certified Uptime Center, becoming one of the first 15 dealers in North America to receive the distinction.

TranSource is a commercial truck dealership group for Mack, Volvo, Hino and Isuzu trucks, offering new and used trucks, full-service truck leasing and rental, and parts and service for all brands of commercial trucks.
The Certified Uptime Center program is designed to assure certain standards of truck repair and maintenance, with vehicle uptime as the top priority. The program incorporates workflow procedures to build increased shop efficiency to save time, especially for quick repairs.
Dealer locations receive the certification only after adopting standardized protocols that provide transparent information to the customer and completion of short repairs more quickly.
A key part of the program is a dedicated Uptime Bay, where trucks requiring repair times of four hours or less are serviced immediately. By prioritizing repairs based on the length of repair time, service centers can reduce delays.
“It is a very comprehensive process. Our people take a lot of pride in serving the customer and this new program helps take us to another level,” said James Bland, co-president of TranSource.
The Uptime Bay also uses GuardDog Connect, Mack’s diagnostic and repair planning system, to expedite service. Customers can expect faster check-ins and assessments with no appointment necessary, according to Mack.
