TravelCenters of America has announced that its TA Truck Service, Petro: Lube, RoadSquad Connect, RoadSquad OnSite and eShop will all now fall under the single-brand umbrella of TA Truck Service.
TA Truck Service will be found at both TA and Petro locations. It will offer drivers and fleets more service bays, technical expertise. and maintenance solutions.
TA Truck Service’s technicians are given classroom training, ASE training and TIA certification and assigned mentor technicians. There will also be an ASE master technician hotline for around-the-clock support for hard-to-diagnose service issues.
“The brand incorporated the best practices of the top truck repair brands in the industry, including state-of-the-art technical training, quality control programs utilizing Six Sigma processes, an expanding scope of services, Freightliner and Western Star warranty determinations, nationwide parts and service warranty plus more efficient work order queuing for less complex repairs, we call Rapid Repair,” said Tom O’Brien, president and CEO of TravelCenters.
O'Brien said It will also offer fast response for roadside breakdowns and will ensure that the right technician with the right tools is sent to an assigned job. Less complex repairs will be staged quickly with Rapid Repair and TA Truck Service will also be able to address more extensive repairs.
“TA Truck Service is more than just a new brand name,” said O’Brien. “Our goal is to keep our drivers rolling.”
