By combining an enterprise booking system (EBS) with the company’s online reservation system, fleets can manage all their parking in one place, giving drivers the ability to find a place to rest quickly and easily.

“While our app was aimed at fleets with five trucks or less and owner-operators, TruckPark Reserve allows bigger fleets to managing parking through a web platform that is accessible through your phone or desktop,” said Anthony Petitte, TruckPark chief executive officer and co-founder.

The new EBS platform gives dispatchers direct access to safe and secure parking and the ability to book multiple reservations, which allows them to plan routes more efficiently, reduce driver turnover, increase payload security, and guarantee that each parking spot will be available when the driver arrives, according to the company. Drivers can also now book parking spots in certain hotel lots, and even a room at a discounted rate.

“All drivers have to do it show their digital receipt to the front desk staff, and they will immediately get a reduced rate if they choose to stay in a room,” said Petitte, adding that TruckPark currently has an agreement in place with Red Roof Inn, with more hotels to soon follow.

The proprietary EBS technology will also help drive continued growth of the company, according to COO and Co-Founder Joshua Walls, by partnering with a number of new large fleets, who see the advantages to the new system and how it will help their dispatchers efficiently find parking for their drivers.

“DVL Express is excited to partner with TruckPark on this new initiative,” said Max Borisov, operations manager at DVL Express. “It allows our drivers to be more productive with hours-of-service regs and route plan more efficiently.”
