Truckload carrier U.S. Xpress hosted its second annual technician competition in its Tunnel Hill, Georgia, facility on April 20. HDT's Deborah Lockridge was there and has these photos.

The bevy of beauties at this year's Paul K. Young Truck Beauty contest at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Kentucky, seemed a little thinner. There were fewer of the highly customized "Mafia" style trucks, and the winners list showed a preference for more traditional entries. The unveiling of the Nikola One hydrogen-electric long-haul tractor generated intense curiosity from truck operators, suppliers, and the trucking press.
