A new Pilot Travel Center has opened in Childress, Texas, serving drivers traveling on Highway 83 and Highway 287.

“We’re thrilled that our new travel center will serve professional drivers traveling on U.S. Highways 83 or 287 through Texas,” said Jimmy Haslam, CEO of Pilot Flying J. “We hope drivers will enjoy the convenience and amenities of our new Pilot Travel Center.”
The facility is Pilot’s 53rd location in Texas and features seven diesel and 12 gasoline lanes for refueling. There is parking for 81 trucks, a driver’s lounge and seven showers. There are fast food offerings as well as coffee and a shopping center.
The Childress Pilot Travel Center will honor the MyRewards loyalty card which members can use to earn discounts on food and retail.
