Premier Trailer Leasing Buys Trailer Fleet International
Premier Trailer Leasing earlier this month acquired certain assets of Trailer Fleet International, a provider of trailer rental and leasing services on the west coast, with nearly 3,000 trailers and locations in Los Angeles, Rancho Cucamonga, Portland and Seattle.
With the acquisition, Premier Trailer Leasing now has more than 25,000 trailers and 25 locations from coast to coast, according to a release. Terms of the deal have not been released.
“This acquisition is an outstanding fit for our company, enabling Premier to be a national player in the trailer rental and leasing industry. We can provide enterprise solutions for our customers with national needs while giving access to new equipment and technology to Trailer Fleet’s existing customer base,” said Jim Aubuchon, Premier’s president and CEO.
In the past three years, Premier said it has grown from 11,000 trailers to over 25,000 and has invested over $200 million to acquire a broad spectrum of trailers including specialized flatbeds, refrigerated vans.
Premier Trailer Leasing is owned by Garrison Investment Group, a private equity investment firm.
